5 base metal blocks totalling 623ha.
Resource Estimation
Two ore bodies with economic grades of copper, vanadium, titanium and precious metals were identified. The larger ore body is 1 722m long with varying width of 219m and 76m, whilst the smaller one comprises of an area 549m long with a maximum width of 375m.
An intersection from drill hole N.Y.2 gave 69.34m of 0.21% Cu, 21% Fe, 3.29 % Ti and 0.34% V2O5. Four drill holes were sunk and they reached only up to 150m. Some of the drill holes were stopped in ore.
Comment
Vanadium has received far much less exposure compared to other mainstream metals. With the advent of the green revolution vanadium is set to become a much more prominent metal in industry and in especially in support of the energy transition away from fossil fuels.
